  • Can you help with (insert your symptoms here)?
I have treated thousands of different muscular, joint, and skeletal injuries, so the answer is invariably 'Yes!'. If you have a particularly unusual condition that you have questions about, feel free to get in touch at osteokatie@gmail.com or (647) 927-8190. If I can't help, I'll point you in the right direction.
  • Do I need a referral for osteopathic care?
No, you don't need a referral to book an appointment. Some insurance providers require a referral though, so if you plan to claim through extended health benefits check with them first. You also don't need ultrasound, x-ray or MRI tests before seeing me. If you have access to results from recent imaging bring the reports with you so we can review them.
  • How many appointments will I need?
It's different for everyone. The number of sessions you need depends on a number of factors that I will screen you for during our first meeting. My aim is to help you understand the root cause of your symptoms and offer advice that will help you recover in as few sessions as possible.
  • What should I wear to my session?
Think comfortable and stretchy! Wear bottoms you can move easily in and a lightweight t-shirt or tank to get the most out of your session.
  • What should I bring to my child's appointment?
I want them to feel as comfortable as possible! If that means having their favourite stuffed animal to cuddle then feel free to bring that along. We can't always expect them to be still for the whole session either so bring toys, teethers or books that they like to keep them busy. If you're comfortable with your child watching a show while they're here bring a device for them too.
  • How much does a session cost?
For up-to-date pricing information check out the online booking platform by clicking 'Book Now' above.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept e-transfers, interac, credit cards and cash.
  • Is osteopathy covered by my private insurance provider?
Yes, you can claim osteopathy as part of most extended health insurance plans in Ontario. When you pay for your appointment you will receive an invoice with all the details you need to submit your claim. If you're not sure if your plan covers osteopathy check with your insurance provider before scheduling a visit.
  • Do you offer direct billing?
No, we do not direct bill to insurance companies.
  • Is parking available?
Absolutely! Street parking is free in front of my house. You're welcome to park in the driveway if there's space too.
  • Still have questions?
No problem. I'd love to help! Get in touch to find out more.
